Voices in the Wilderness

I’ve noticed something about courage in my life. It usually doesn’t begin with me feeling particularly courageous.

Fear has never always sounded like fear to me. Sometimes that would have made things much easier.

I would come home from school or my after-school program ready to tell my parents everything that happened.
